Špajz Salaša 137

For ŠPAJZ, Elder Design Studio developed a visual identity that authentically connects with the
spirit of local food culture. Working alongside the founder’s creative vision, we built on her initial
branding elements to capture the warmth and tradition of ŠPAJZ while appealing to a modern
audience that values quality and authenticity.
The collaborative process focused on preserving the owner’s personal touch. While she crafted
the logo and hand-drawn illustrations, our team extended these elements into a cohesive brand
experience. This included designing and developing the website, refining the typography for
Latin-based characters to complement her original Cyrillic script, and creating digital assets that
retained the hand-crafted feel of her illustrations. We enhanced the colour palette and created
additional print materials such as:

● A menu with a map
● Wooden plaques with QR codes for menu access
● Packaging designs, including a traditional paper cone for pork cracklings and an
envelope-style package for cured ham

Our goal was to create a brand identity that feels like a warm embrace—a blend of tradition and
light-hearted charm. With Elder’s support, ŠPAJZ now carries a brand identity that stays true to
its roots while engaging today’s consumer.
As Partners in Design, we’ve crafted a visual language that goes beyond food. It cherishes the
authentic experiences and traditions behind each bite.
